Yaya says nah nah to link up with brother at Arsenal

The Yaya Toure to Arsenal rumors have heated up once again, as The Sun is linking the Gunners with a bid for the Barcelona midfielder and brother of Arsenal defender Kolo.

Arsenal were heavily linked with the younger Toure in the summer, but nothing materialized. Now, the speculation is that the club is ready to make a £6m bid for the 25-year old, who had a trial at the club in 2005.

It appears that may well be the case once again, as Yaya has quickly responded to the speculation by saying that he’s happy at Barca and that he’s not going anywhere. Toure wasn’t in Pep Guardiola’s starting lineup much early on this season, but he’s been a regular starter in the last month and a half.

Arsenal do need to make some reinforcements in midfield, as I’ve said before. However, it looks like the chances of that happening soon are highly unlikely, and Arsenal’s search for midfield additions will have to go elsewhere.
