The above poll is about to finish, cast your votes quickly! ……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………. 20:17 – Bit of a recap, as reported Manchester United target Nicolas Otamendi has joined La Liga side Valencia for the rest of the season.

The list of potential transfers still to go thorough this evening is becoming increasingly sparse… ……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………. thisonefool The Transfer Lens: Live Deadline Day Remember Manchester United striker Frederico Manchego? Sorry, Macheda? Well he’s toddled off to Birmingham City for the rest of the season.

Having already spent loan spells at Sampdoria, QPR, Stuttgart and Doncaster Rovers during his short career, the 22-year-old Italian now heads off to join Lee Clark’s Blues for yet another shot at getting game time…

Remember this? Yeah, that’s Macheda!

And again! Battered when my guard was down!

Arsenal have completed a deal for Swedish international midfielder Kim Kallstrom, with the 31-year-old moving to North London on loan for the remainder of the season.

My tangential behavior has however led me to another gem of a pic, this time of PSG ladies captain Laure Boulleau.

International class defender, captain of her club, and, unfortunately for everyone, not in the spotlight this deadline day…

But I digress…

Liverpool anfield konoplyanka 362949 The Transfer Lens: Live Deadline Day ……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………. 19:13 – Liverpool are still working on the Konoplyanka deal it seems, and it would certainly be an interesting signing.

……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………. thisonefool The Transfer Lens: Live Deadline Day

Juventus have signed Southampton striker Dani Osvaldo on loan until the end of the season, with the Serie A giants able to buy outright in the summer.

……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………. 18:09 – Would Kim Kallstrom be a good signing for Arsenal: The Poll Results

Yes – 45%

No – 27%

Kim who? – 27%

Seems like Arsenal fans aren’t too fussed with Kallstrom overall!

A slender win then for the Swede being a decent addition, and if can do a job similar to Mathieu Flamini, then why indeed not? ……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………. thisonefool The Transfer Lens: Live Deadline Day

West Ham have completed the signing of Napoli defender Pablo Armero, with the Colombian joining until the end of the season.

…………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….17:38 – So, Mark Hughes has picked up from where Tony Pulis left off, and is close to completing the Stoke monster with the signing of Lee Cattermole from Sunderland.

For a team that get pummeled every week by fans and pundits around the country for their aggressive, archaic style of play, they really don’t do themselves any favours with signings like this, do they?

…………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………… 17:33 – Sunderland’s Lee Cattermole set for Stoke move.

…………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….17:27 – Everton’s Johnny Heitinga reportedly in London, and talking with big movers Fulham, who are set to continue their deadline day splurge! No word yet on Dimitar Berbatov

…………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….17:13 – I’ve heard whispers in the wind concerning a potential bid from Manchester United for Wolfsburg talent, Maxi Arnold.

The 19-year-old has five goals in just 11 games for the Bundesliga outfit this season, and is yet another young German tipped for greatness.

No confirmation, just rumours thus far…

13:00Comments from the Masses: Kim Kallstrom’s impending move to Arsenal

Odongo Jimmy says: That’s great! I think he’s going to add more experience in the midfield. But that signing is not yet enough because we still need a world class striker to score for us more goals.

Don Juan says: Not who we need, sorry. We have so many midfielders, they can cover Ramsey. We want Draxler.

9:45 - Right then here we go then, and first off, we were just treated to a particularly insightful Arsene Wenger press conference, where the Arsenal boss effectively ruled out signing 20-year-old Julian Draxler.

Pretty heavy stuff to be waking up too, especially for hopeful Gunners fans! Arsenal had reportedly (not via Wenger) been tracking the young German for an age, with a deal said to be a fair way down the pipeline.

This, coupled with Mirko Vucinic‘s desicion to stay with Juventus will surely leave Arsenal fans now contemplating yet another dour, anticlimactic transfer window.

Prove me wrong, Arsene!
