Possible Manchester United Starting Line-Up Against Fulham

Manchester United will take on Fulham at the Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon, looking to bounce back in the league, after their 2-1 defeat against Stoke City in the last match.

The Red Devils are struggling horribly under David Moyes and are lying 7th in the league, seven points behind 4th placed Liverpool. Their title ambition is all but over and now they have a serious fight on hand to secure the fourth position in the league.

David Moyes

Ahead of the match, Moyes spoke to the media today and gave an injury update with the latest on the fitness of Phil Jones, Marouane Fellaini and Jonny Evans.

Evans was forced off against Stoke City early in the match with calf problems and has been ruled out for this game. However, defender Phil Jones, who suffered concussion following a clash of heads with Jonathan Walters, has trained with the squad and could play some part.

Moyes will have to continue without the services of Fellaini as the Belgian’s comeback is further delayed due to groin injury that will him out for possibly another week. Here is the possible starting line-up of Manchester United.

Prediction: 2-1; Man Utd have won their last 11 home matches against Fulham in all competitions and though Moyes has been breaking all records, expect the Red Devils to earn full three points on Sunday.

Mourinho: Arsenal legend could lure Ashley Cole to America
The Transfer Lens: Luis Suarez to Chelsea? Ayoze Perez to Arsenal?

  1. Smalling is a second rate player and not fit to don the Manchester United jersey. Have Valencia in his position and bring in Kagawa and Kagawa at some stage in the game and we’d collect 3 points. What’s Moyes doing by not using an experienced player like Rio? Moyes has got his game plan all wro-o-ong. The last match is proof of this FACT. Wake up Moyes! Did you come to Manchester United to destroy it?

  2. I mean Kagawa and Hernandez. Fresh legs help to provide valuable rest for one or two players overworked players in the team. Moyes should have a look at the way Mourinho positioned his team to thwart Man City’s attack. Moyes clearly has no attacking and defensive strategy. If Rene was still there as 1st team coach, after the Fergie stepped down, Manchester United would be in a better position than it is now. The news coming out seems to suggest that Manchester United is on the way out of the premier league. I think not: Manchester United has always risen like the phoenix from its ashes and will continue to confound the so-called pundits, and other wishful prophets of doom. Arise Manchester United and show them stuff you are made of. Glory, glory Manchester United!

  3. De Gea, Raffel, Butner, Smalling, Jones, Cleverly, Mata, Rooney, Januzaj, Valencia n RVP. Pls dn’t defend, just attack n strike. Bring Powell back fo us. I keep on the Faith. Break bank and buy Barkley
