Picture + Video: Fernando Torres Back To His Best With Brace Against Schalke
Torres could have completed his hat-trick, had his effort not denied by the cross bar. The icing on the cake was left for Belgium star Eden Hazard who scored the final goal of the match. It was also the first Champions League goal by the winger for Chelsea.
Although the home side enjoyed the lion-share of possession in the first half, Chelsea went into the break with a 1-0 lead, after Fernando Torres opened the scoring within 5 minutes. The Spaniard added another in the 68th minute after a brilliant work from Oscar for the build up to the goal.
