It was an emotional night at Estadio El Madrigal yesterday. The whole world mourned over the passing away of former Barcelona manager Tito Vilanova and one could imagine how hard it must be for the Catalan giants to embrace such shock.
While there was a serious title battle on the hands, football, for a while took backstage. Barcelona players had earlier expressed their grief, while midfielder Sergio Busquets was reduced to tears during the minute of silence for their former beloved manager, who fought a valiant battle against cancer.
Barcelona came from behind to win 3-2 that kept their title hopes alive. But most importantly, it was a fitting tribute to the man, who lost the battle of life and seemingly loved by all.
Tito was close to some of the Barcelona players who came through the youth ranks at the club. Busquets was one of them. The natural outburst of his emotion is indeed very, very touchy. Check out the video below
