Arsenal 2007/2008 3rd / European Kit
Note: The official Arsenal away kit for 2007/2008 is here.
From Arseblog (who’s quoting this danish website), here’s the possible new Arsenal 07/08 3rd kit that will be used in Europe and in some away matches.
The similarity to Barcelona’s kit colors is striking and…well, jokes apart, probably not the best color combination for Arsenal to pick for their 3rd kit. However, it will certainly sell, although whether it’s better received than that the white 07/08 Arsenal away kit is a different question altogether.
So… what do you guys think now?

yes i agree it looks more like what arsenal wud wear but i prefer the other 1!!! this 1s abit dodgy for my liking. too much like the home kit
The only problem I see with the so-called “white” kit, is that it can’t possibly fulfill the role of a second kit because it is suppose to have totally different colours to the first kit.
Off the top of my head, Sunderland are going to be a problem with this kit, not to mention spurs, bolt-on, and quite a few others.

this is a great kit,sadly i dont think this will be the one we wear.If you look at all the adverts the background is white and redcurrant,redaction,the singing section from arsenal has a picture of a different kit,its ok but not as good as this.They wer rite wen it came2 what would go on the rings around emirates so im guessin theres is the kit
very very nice and I hope in 2007/08 season Arsenal will be Champion of the Premiership and to win the Champions League , with three or four buying NOT PROBLEM

Both away shirts look like training shirts and cheap.I don’t like them.I’d liked it if it had been maroon like last seasons.Arsenals away colours are usually yellow or blue.I remember the gold we had one season why not try that.

This kit is a lovely design, coming from a Liverpool but after seeing previews of our new away and european away kit I just don’t know why Adidas cant keep the designs simple, if the away kit is the one from the designs, its got horrible spikey things down the sides which just make it look tacky, adidas are trying to hard, cant they just keep designs classy and simple

This kit is da exact opposite of da home kit it looks like a training kit. It isnt that bad but da colla is ugly.:p :p
If we are to have a white and red away shirt it will only be worn about six times. It clashes with nearly every home shirt. See onlinegooner for an article which confirms this.

I prefer something in a solid color. Like the old Highbury maroon shirt or a blue one.

Arsenal diehart in Kenya East Africa. This kit has waited for too long. Nobody claims to hate it. It matches our new stadium, and am sure it carries the magic to win not only the premiership but the champions league cup come next season.
Henry, you should wear this one, even if you are hoping to leave for Barca. Thanks alot to the designer.

Being an Arsenal fan, I’m sorry to say this but its a simple marketing stunt to optimize profit. Though I love all 3 kits here’s the boffins at the tops plan: Home kit will be warn at all homes games obvious….2nd kit the white one will only be wearable at about 30% of the away games but by the start of the season will hve already sold masses, the 3rd kit which will be warn at the 70% of away games that the white one isn’t suitable for will then appear from no where hence why its only on a danish site so far!this due to it being needed more than the white one will then almost be adopted by fans as the away strip….allowing those at the top to in effect double their money. Hell i ain’t saying don’t buy them cos lets face it if they make a load of money they may buy some players, but that is the fact of the matter, chapman has been used for a clever profit.

hmm… its ok, very barca-ish tho that makes it slightly weird. A huge improvement from last year’s and waaaay better than the 2007/08 away kit (it’s just horrible)

Sorry Franny, but it canbe warn as an away kit, for games at bolton spurs etc, we cant where the white for obvious reasons and we dont seem to be allowed to where the home strip due to the white arms and shorts…so it can be used as an away kitagainst teams who strips contain white….sunderland and teams like sheff utd in possible cup ghames are the only possible stumbling blocks for the red and blue hence the horizontal not vertically stripes allowing easy differeciation for players and officials.

I don’t know about you guys but this kit will keep reminding me about the Champions League loss to Barca.I like it..its a lot better than most of the 3rd kits that i’ve seen so far..but Paris 2006 comes to mind..over and over again.

Looks nothing like the Barca shirt. Their’s is vertical stripes last time I looked. If anyone is trying to look like Barca, it’s The Fulham Rent Boys in their direct rip off of their shocking lime green kit.

I have just received my brand new Arsenal International third shirt and I just love it. It has a very elegant yet simple design. It feets perfectly. And contrary to the criticisms that say it is a Barca wanna be, not true at all. The colors look wonderful. The redcurrant and obsidian stripes do not resemble the Barca colors. The obsidian looks like black to the eye.
I am sure it is going to be a top seller.
I first tried purchasing from the offical Arsanal online shop but they have gone out of stock. So, I purcahsed it from kitbag.com. Same price and excellent service with fast delivery right to my door.
I think that new look is good for the team. And ihope will the league this season
