Manchester United host Southampton in their next Premier League game at Old Trafford this Friday.

Jose Mourinho will be delighted with how his team performed against Bournemouth in their opening game and the Portuguese manager will want to build on that against the Saints.

Manchester United were dominant and efficient against the Cherries last week. Even though the likes of Pogba and Mkhitaryan are yet to be integrated into the first team, the Old Trafford giants looked like a force to be reckoned with this season, and top of the soccer predictions for not only winning their match this week but also finishing in the top two this season.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic maintained his perfect debut record by scoring on his Premier League debut. The Swedish striker has previously scored in all of his debut games for Ajax, Milan, Juventus, Barcelona and PSG.

Jose Mourinho maintained his impeccable record of not losing the first game of the season and only Shearer and Lampard (8) are ahead of Rooney (7) as far as opening day goals are concerned.

Southampton were held to a 1-1 draw at Watford last week and Claude Puel will be looking to secure his first win of the season.

The away side had a great time at Old Trafford last season when Louis Van Gaal was in charge of Manchester United.

However, United are not the same side anymore and Southampton will have a tough challenge in front of them at Old Trafford this week.
