The Daily Mail reports that the Scot wants to keep his existing attack in place so as to continue Utd’s recovery, with the Red Devils having suffered some damaging defeats in the build-up to the festive period.

Dutchman Van Persie has been linked with a swift exit from the club he only signed for in 2012. Rumours spread like wildfire that he had requested a transfer from the club, after supposedly becoming frustrated with Moyes’ training methods at the club.

Indeed, there were reports that claimed he had played his last game for the club, having suffered a thigh strain which will keep him out until two weeks into the January transfer window; with Spanish giants Barcelona and Real Madrid have been linked with a January move for the reportedly unsettled 30-year-old.

Kagawa has been on the fringe of Moyes’ thoughts this season, with the Japanese midfielder deployed in a variety of positions so far. A return the Bundesliga with old side Borussia Dortmund has long been mooted, as his time at Old Trafford has not hit the expected heights.

But Moyes has said that he intends to keep his front five as it is, apparently ending any rumours of the duo making an exit in January.

What do you think? Is the Utd front five enough to get them into the top four? Let me know in the comments below…
