Liverpool Transfer: Champions League winner open to move, confirms agent

According to the player’s agent, Barcelona full back Adriano is open to a move away from the Camp Nou.

Liverpool are actively looking for a left back and Adriano has been identified as a possible candidate. The Reds are also looking at PSG full back Lucas Digne and are expected to make their move soon.

Both players have voiced their concerns regarding their future at Barcelona and PSG respectively and Liverpool are keen to take advantage of the situation.

Barcelona full back Adriano could be the perfect mentor for young attacking full back Alberto Moreno, as well as be a necessary upgrade on Jose Enrique.

The former Newcastle man is set to be offloaded along with the likes of Borini, Lambert, Balotelli.

Moreno has been an exciting signing for the Reds. But the young Spaniard has struggled due to Liverpool’s poor defensive organisation and his lack of experience. Adriano will be a perfect short term option for Brendan Rodgers, who can then take his time to groom the young Spaniard.

Adriano comes with an abundance of experience at the top level. The Brazilian has won every club trophy there is to win and has played with some of the best players of this generation.

With such a young squad at his disposal, it seems Rodgers could certainly use the experience of someone like Adriano.
