Liverpool face competition from Arsenal for Lucas Moura

Lucas Moura

PSG’s highly rated attacking midfielder Lucas Moura has been in a good form this season for the French champions. The Brazilian has scored eight goals and further registered four assists for PSG.

He has settled nicely at PSG since joining the French club in 2013, and has established himself as one of the key players for Laurent Blanc’s side. However, everything is possible when it comes to his future. He alternates great performances with periods of very bad form. He’s been in a rich vein of form in recent weeks and several clubs have let him know that they’d be interested in signing him, if he ever decides to leave PSG.

According to reports from Le 10 Sport (magazine version), Premier League clubs Liverpool and Arsenal have registered an interest in signing the Brazilian forward, who would cost around €35m, per transfermrket.com.

Moura can play in all the three attacking positions upfront – right, left and centre – and would be a good addition to the aforementioned Premier League clubs.

He is very good at dribbling and passing, but at the same time very inconsistent with his performances. PSG are looking to sell some of their star players in the summer in order to raise funds to sign top players like Eden Hazard or Robert Lewandowski.

Moura is happy at PSG, and would love to win more trophies at the French club, but the French champions might be tempted to sell him, should they receive a good offer from top Premier League clubs.
