Deal Close: Manchester United in advanced negotiation with Dortmund

Javier Hernandez

Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal gave a strong hint in the press conference that he is likely to remain busy in the few days of the summer transfer window. In fact very busy. He openly claimed that would be ins and outs.

While, we don’t know yet who would be coming in at Manchester United, but we certainly have a fair idea about players, who holds uncertain future at the club.

There have been reports in Italian media over the possible departure of Javier Hernandez. Serie A champions Juventus have already lodged an official bid for him, while some suggest that the Mexican striker could be used as a part exchange deal for Vidal.

Another player who could bid good bye to Manchester United fans is attacking midfielder Shinji Kagawa. In the last 24 hours, we have had reports from Spain that Valencia are showing an interest in him and now reliable journalist GDM claiming that the diminutive Japanese could be on his way to join his former club Borussia Dortmund.

The 25-year-old joined Manchester United in 2012, but has failed to cement his position in the side yet, though there is a train of thought that he hasn’t been used properly by any of Manchester United managers he has played.

Louis van Gaal, his present manager isn’t too impressed with him and claimed recently: “Kagawa, I have tried to play him in that position in the US and he could not fulfil my wishes and my philosophy.”

GDM claim that Dortmund have offered around €10m plus additional €2m on bonuses. Negotiations are at an advanced level and the deal is likely to happen.

  1. we are not gonna get rid of Kagawa not today not tomorrow. he is a united player and he gonna play for united for a long time…LVG just keep him in the squad i bet u, he gonna impress you in no time. he has done it with Dortmund and he gonna do it here too

  2. Let Kagawa leave. Cause he’s been degraded by us. Why bench a world class player and expect him to remain at his best?

  3. Ed woodward please go and get vidal, blind and a good centre back please before it will be too late

  4. Kagawa hasn’t played is best position under sir alex and this made him perform poor in all game…why do we want kagawa to live? Let keep him,he is a good passer..He will work well with di maria to push the ball forward.

  5. I,m realy disappointed at Ed Woodward and the Glaziers for truly messing up the opportunity of signing quality players that would help revamp red army.mourinho is building a future dynasty in chelsea, why wild a club like united just stand aside and watch

    • Hellow montel, you have to take it easy, Ed woodwad and van Gaal are trying their best to rescue the team, but it seems you guy are hurry and rush, the man solicite patience from you guys.He signed three world class players ander harerer,di maria and rojo.He s planing to bring two good players blind and vida or de calm is our limit

  6. German bundesliga and the EPL are 2 very different European leaugues. Kagawa is a good offensive midfielder he just needs time, and time is what bid teams in the EPL like MAN U don’t have. In my opinion LVG should let him stay at least till January and lets see what happens then.

  7. Another shocking decision by Man U if Kagawa leaves. If he goes back to Dortmund watch him shine because at least they know what a class act he is. Man U are becoming the laughing stock of the EPL

  8. J S Parck in hi day was good because he was used properly talking of Kagawa he is very very good better than harriera we need defensive. Midfielder, we need central back defender strong like namanja vidic we strong left back like evera let Rafael do his aggressive right back job with macus rojo de live some other young stars defender for sub then allow De Maria and Valencia for right and left wing forward while januzage will always come from bench to help Valencia or Maria then keep Kagawa mats and RVP for 8 10 9 then you get what you want Vidal you even talking about already have knee injury who knows if is going to be wost or less then please sell off welbeck young and felanni they of no use for united. Thanks

  9. Truly speaking I would prefer welbeck staying at manchester, he’s a nice dribbling striker, keeps the ball where necessary. He can back up Van persie incase he’s injured.
