Wayne RooneyManchester United will take on Sunderland in the weekend Premier League clash at Old Trafford on Saturday.

The last time these two teams met each other was during the start of the season at the Stadium of Light. The tie ended in a 1-1 draw as Juan Mata’s goal was cancelled by Jack Rodwell’s half hour mark header.

United go into this clash without the services of star striker Robin van Persie, who will miss the clash due to the injury he picked during the Red Devils’ last league clash against Swansea City, which United lost 2-1 at the Liberty Stadium.
