Casillas Says No To Man City Offer

Premier League club Manchester City seem to have been snubbed by the Real Madrid and Spain custodian Iker Casillas, not once but twice in the last three months.

It has been reported by that the Spain international goalkeeper and Euro 2008 winner rejected a huge proposal from Manchester City in the summer and also rejected an improved offer ten days ago. Casillas’s agent Luis Garcia Abad has been quoted as saying that the Eastlands club came with a €120 million offer for Real Madrid in the summer with Casillas being lured with a €12 million net per season contract.

At the time Iker Casillas refused to even talk about the offer but according to Abad, Man City did not lose their interest and made another offer just ten days back. This time the Eastlands club offered to pay Casillas €13 million per season and €150 million to Real Madrid. It seems that Man City made the offer in writing but Abad has not relayed it to Real Madrid yet as his client himself is not interested in moving out of the Bernabeu.

Manchester City have been linked with a number of top quality players but nothing concrete or fruitful has happened for them so far. And as Casillas has proved, it is not that difficult to say no to Man City and their m(b)illions.
