Barcelona to make shock £30m bid for Mesut Ozil?

Well, I seriously don’t know how to react to it.

Barcelona’s transfer ban has been lifted by FIFA and now the Catalan giants can set their sights again to recruit top players from all around the world.

Already they have linked up agreement for Ter Stegen and are trying to lure David Luiz of Chelsea, now reports in Spain suggest, they’re showing interest in signing Mesut Ozil from Arsenal.

“There are reports from Spain that Barcelona will make a move for Arsenal’s Mesut Ozil,” talkSPORT’s Spanish football expert Paul Breen-Turner told the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast show.

“He was close to joining them in 2011. Ozil is a very serious target for Barcelona and they will make a move.

“They’re talking about a figure of £30million, although I can’t quite believe Arsenal would even consider.”

Take a look at his tweet as well:

Arsenal paid £42m for Ozil which is a club record transfer fee and the German international did well in his first season at the club.

Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo reports that German midfielder is very liked by Andoni Zubizarreta and Barca are preparing to launch a bid for Ozil in summer.

Even if they are interested, no way Arsenal would sell such a prized asset that too for a fee much lower than the value they paid to sign him.
