If Mclaren brings about equality then why didnt beckham have the right to fight for the his place along with everybody else. He was thrown out, not because of performances but for something else. Zahavi maybe right in what he says, it makes sense if you think about it. I think maybe the other big names of Gerrard Lampard Terry and Cole would have had problems. No body else in the team is big enough to play politics and to be honest beckham's immediate replacements of SWP and Lennon dont have the status to push their weight around. I have a problem with the fact (assuming what zahavi is saying is right) how players could never give their 110% in every game and that if they did throw him out, they havnt stepped up to the plate and performed. England right now are rubbish, and for me Mclaren needs to stop choosing the best players and start choosing the best team.
