EPL - Who do you think you are? Ok, so Stuart is clearly biased as a Charlton fan but who are you to be so belittling? If you knew much about football, i wouldnt need to spell this out to you, so wind your neck in....and in your own words, I pity you for being such an arrogant, ignorant cretin

The reason Charlton is an attractive propostion for investment, apart from their location is that they own their own ground and training facilities, have a measly £20m of debt (which is solely because of relegation) and can expand the ground immediatetly to 40,000 with scope for more - if not, would be likely to get the Olympic Stadium for a nominal fee! Plus, they have decent players and could make a quick return without much money being spent - ok, they need a better manager but with money comes interest, so that wouldnt be a problem.....

And i don't think investors bought the club like what Cal said because "Charlton is in a quickly developing area with things like 2012 olympics going on" not because "they used to serve up Haddock and chips after each game to the opposition". You give me the giggles man

Stuart Cal's answer was logical and answered my questions whereas yours is a fanatic rant totally illogical and out of the point. You are only demeaning your club by giving this kind of stupid answers. The people up there are businessmen not people looking for a club with hardcaore supporters. 20 thosuand per game?? phew? Don't you find it embarressing to boast about that in public when other clubs can report double the amount than that? And what? against Forest and wednesday? I pity you dude.

Charlton are a proper football club with a fantastic history, Unlike Arsenal we still have our homeground in Charlton and are supported by local people. The acadamy set up is real and they provide for everyone rich and poor. A ticket for the Bristol City game next Tuesday is £10 for adults and £5 for kids. Charlton have doing offers like this for years. Charlton also have a unique history as many other s do but 12 years ago they almost went out of business but can back and now have a steady 20,000 supporters turning up to home games. Even away supporters get a good view of the game behind the goal which I personally think is important. The reason they are called th "Addicks" is becasue they used to serve up Haddock and chips after each game to the opposition. Clubs like West Ham and Chelsea will never dominate Charlton. Up the Addicks!!

The question is why Charlton? Why not Fulham who is looking to sell as well and who are already there in the promised land? Or Everton the second biggest in Mersey with a better fan base or Portsmouth the only top league club in the south right now? Why London where its already been dominated by Chelsea Spurs Arsenal and West Ham? If you are already throwing the cash why not invest it properly on a Premier League club where you get much much more TV money than you get in the football league?
