Hensy beat me too it on Evans. What an oversight. This guy is set to be at Utd. for years and is the first 'seemless' stand-in for Ferdinand/Vidic we have seen.

Carrick has been outstanding since he came to Utd. and is getting better. He handles the DF position comfortably with Fletcher providing the cover. The problem for me is OM where neither Scholes nor Anderson are 'commanding' the position. I hoped Anderson would stake his claim this season but don't understand why Fergie won't give him a consistent run in the team. He had every opportunity to do so in Scholes' absence.

Over rotation in midfield and an ongoing problem with the strikers not finding the net is costing Utd. There's no need for any new signings, we just need to get these things sorted.

You ignore the fact that Hargreaves is out recovering from surgery and has otherwise been injured since he arrived at United hence the lack of starting opportunities. You also blatantly overlook J. Evans at the back for the reds who has been a rock in every game that he has played in, and would be getting more games were in not for the sublime Rio & Vidic partnership. And despite the fact that Tevez may not have started as many games as the other 2 forwards he has actually appeared in more games than either of them. So not the best of articles really.

1. Xavi is Catalan, Barca is Catalonia... therefore Xavi is Barca for life (or at least for the next 5 years).

2. Xavi is going to re-sign until 2014, there is absolutely nothing that any club can offer to pry him from his beloved blaugrana.
