Not a big fan as the piece is lacking fluency and coherence of thoughts. But I agree with your initial hypothesis: Football > Sport!

Last example does not really seem like a “best times” but maybe that is me.

It is an easy argument- football is the singular most internationally played and enjoyed sport in the world- NFL of America has not a following outside of its borders, neither Baseball and Basketball has a value in Europe which ass uselful ass it is just comes up short as a sport that’ll forever be in the shadow of the American version.

Great piece man

Written as we think, not easy transfering humour like that into writing…well done. I especially liked the bit about Gazza’s drinking.

And some good points as well. Football it simply the greatest sport on the planet, because we live for our teams and heroes and disappear into the moments, when we watch them.

Thanks for reinforcing my faith in the game.
