I think Ricky Kaka should win it. I mean Messi was out for about 4 months. Ronaldo’s champions league wasnt so great. United started with 0 pts not -5 ir somethin. Who even looks at Ruud VRooy. 34goals in an defensive R.Madrid side is no joke. Ibrahimovic and Totti?????? This gives me the feeling that top officials in the FIFA board are toying with names they love and stripping better players of recognition. Imagine Thuram…… he along with Valdes handed the title to Real Madrid last year. I think the top 3 should be………….
1-Kaka
2-C.Ronaldo
3-Drogba/VRooy/Totti/Ibrahimovic/Berbatov
Kaka is undoubtedly the best.

Does anybody watch Serie A??? Zlatan definately needs to be on the list… By far, one of the most talented and effective players of 2007. I guess if his name was Ibranaldo and was born in Brazil, then you would see his name mentioned.

Ronaldo it is…and has to be..Lets forget wat happened in Champions League…Now where does KAKA stands…he He got Ballon’DOr because of hes performance in europe…But if we consider the other performances in Italy and for Brazil..they have not been even close to good..On the other hand if we consider Ronaldo for his country n club, he has been awesome..and getting his team to Semifinals of Champions league isnt a bad achievement..And talking about Messi..he has been good in patches..hasnt been as fruitfull and consistent as above two..so he isnt the threat for other two..

Ronaldo is the best player in the world right now without a doubt. He is scoring every way possible. Free kicks, headers, one timed shots, etc. He is the definition of a total footballer and now he is really beginning to shine his talent to the world. What can you say about his attitude? A bit arrogant, a diver? He was, but he is not that now. We shouldn’t let his previous mistakes come to ruin this award he obviously deserves.. What player has more speed, more strength, and more outrageous skill in the world right now than Ronaldo? Noone. If he doesn’t win it will be a shame. I like Kaka but u can’t compare the two of them, not at this moment. Messi is flying right now, if someone should challenge Ronaldo it should be messi, not Kaka.
