However, I can't recall anyone really suggesting Ligue1 is actually boring, but then again I guess you've used the question in the title rhetorically :) I've always enjoyed watching Ligue1 games, particularly Lille last season with the likes of Bastos and Hazard capable of pulling something out of nothing. Well last season Ligue1 had the most 0-0 draws than the other top leagues in Europe, so perhaps that’s where the boring sentiment emerged.
