Yes fab well said. Even i was disappointed with the fans after they lowered their expectations from our favourite club. Its a completely new lineup now and they do look hungry. Last year was supposed to be our return and we did play some spectacular games. Maybe the ‘return’ was a bit delayed. I’m quite sure we will perform next season. Go gunners……………
PS. you can definitely expect some gunnerhater to respond with the same rant(spurs 4th, toons 5th, hammers6th etc etc) to this………………

just a side comment these days arsenal fans seem to hope for a TITLE PUSH or hope for a guaranteed 4TH SPOT it was only 3yrs ago we were INVINCIBLES, now we just aspire for champions league football.
You hear comments like, “lets hope for a TITLE TILT/PUSH” Instead of hearing comments like “WE’LL WIN THE LEAGUE” comments like that is no longer in the vocabulary of arsenal fans lets all just hope this season would be different.
Ive got a very good feeling, infact a strong one that this season would be spectacular. with our defense having a new look & attack adding a few recruitments quite positive.(notice i didnt say we’ll win d league) how sad!

i think that all us arsenal supporters should have faith in wenger as he has never steared us wrong before! if he thinks that Sagna and Da Silva are good enough then i feel at ease!!! i mean who thought viera or henry could have turned out the way they did????? We will definatly get 4th next season!!!! and maybe even push for the title!!!!!

Very well written and interesting article, interesting to see a gooner’s opinion on there current situation, i still think you need a left winger similar to Spur’s situation that will balance the midfield? Any thoughts?

Just a quick pointer – it’s not particularly important, but you might want to replace Gilberto with Gilbert in the last-but-third line. Unless you’re planning to sell Gilberto, which would make me (a Spurs fan) extremely happy. Unlikely, however. Oh well.

“eboue at right wing? are you mad? wenger did that once due to injuries when th e game didn’t matter.”

arsene recently said/realised that the pitch of emirates is wide, so he’s decided to use it to advantage something they tried towards the close of last season. However with eboue’s deadly crosses he will be pushed further up the pitch to supply crosses for the strikers especially new arrival dudu.
Arsenal have been working very hard in training on their crosses & overall wingplay. With the wealth of creativty arsenal has in midfield expect strikers to score alot of goals this season.

A relatively unknown young left winger may be bought to replace the aging freddy & expect more attack to be developed from the wings this season
