And if we don't sign anyone, we've really not 'gained' anything this season apart from excellent pre-season preparation and a real desire to win from a few of the top players. Newcastle haven't dropped any points yet, and Liverpool won. We're ahead, but a by a very thin margin. It's not that he is a bad defender but he is mistake prone although not as bad as Silvestre. These two seem to give needless free kick time and time again. It's not a case of me saying I told you so, but the Charlton and Fulham games did give us some warning signs. However, Ronaldo, Giggs and Saha should give us plenty to shout about. There is just one question I like to ask you, if we were to end up this transfer deadline without any more new signing, would you be content?
