Michael Owen put Newcastle in the lead with a nice header. Middlesbrough’s Robert Huth answered back by equalizing with his header.
Fullham 2 - Aston Villa 1
Araon Hughes took the lead for Aston Villa after 20 minutes. Only minutes later Fulham was able to scores its first goal by Simon Davies. Only minutes to go Jimmy Bullard scored the winning goal for Fulham with a free-kick.
Serie A:
Juventus 1 - Cagliari 1
Calgiari took the lead through Bianco. Their joy didn’t last long as Nedved’s equalizer came only minutes after.
Inter Milan 1 - Empoli 0
Ibrahimovic scored the only goal of the match. The equalizer was denied by Julio Cesar as he saved a penalty from Saudati.
Siena 3 - Roma 0
Vergassola scored the first of three for Siena. Roma’s Tonetto scored an own goal making it 2-0. The last goal came in the final minutes from Frick.
Reggina 1 - Torino 3
Rosina started of Torino’s victory from the penalty spot. Stellon’s second goal was answered back by Reggina’s Amoruso. Rosina’s second sealed the victory.
Parma 2 - Atalanta 3
In this entertaining match Atalanta scored three through Pellegrino, Bellini and Floccari. Parma’s two goals by Lucarelli and Gasbarroni were not enough.
La Liga:
Levante 1 - Racing Santander 1
Riga put Levante in the lead only to have his goal equalized by Duscher.

Barcelona 1 - Osasuna 0
Xavi scored a beautiful goal which turned out to be enough for Barcelona.
Atletico Madrid 1 - Real Murcia 1
Cofre took the lead with a shot taken from the penalty spot. The equalizer then came from Luis Garcia
Atletico Madrid 1 - Real Murcia 1
Werder Bremen 1 - Bochum 2
Werder took the lead through Daniel Jensen. This turned out to be not enough as Bochum scored the equalizer and winning goal through Benjamin Auer and Anthar Yahia respectively.
Ajax 3 - Feyenoord 0
John Heitinga and Huntelaar put Ajax in a comfortable lead in the first half. Huntelaar scored his second in the final minutes of the game.
