Yea duffman90, Mata, Alexis and Renan are safe. But it gets much better. Manuel Fernandes, Banega (loan at Atletico), Maduro, Vicente, ZIgic (loan at Racing), Ignacio Gonzalez (loan at Newcastle) and Sunny (loan at Osasuna) are headed for the chop. Yet Valencia will find it hard getting rid of these players for a good price since most teams will bid very low since they know the club desperately needs money.

I can't wait for the fire sale.

yea, Villa wont go to Madrid. He's not a fan of Real Madrid since they made comments about him last year claiming he lacked ambition thus the reason he wanted to stay in valencia. He wants to stay in Spain but might not get his wish if Chelsea or Inter bid over the odds for him. He's going to end up with the highest bidder whether he likes it or not.

@ KAT,
I'm not cribbing about anything and further more you don't seem to make any valid points. Both teams were to blame for a tempered game. A game involving Albelda, Marchena, Capel and Navarro was bound to evoke such playful acting.. Also, neither team came looking for a revenge since neither Sevilla nor Valencia are in the Cup. There ya go.

i REALLY hope villa stays, but even if they get 4th,i doubt theres enough money there to keep him, plus the 35-40m bids might be too much to resist.if he does move on,i would much prefer he chose barca over real.ive heard on revista on sky that betis might be doing a deal for joaquin where he moves for free, but it cancels out all those other clauses from his original move.supposedly, mata, alexis and renan are safe because of their low wages, and pretty much everyone else is up for sale, although pablo may be safe too,i cant remember.2 points behind sevilla now though, come on los che!

dunno what this author is cribbing about..it was bound to be a brutal game..if you think valencia would not have taken exception to the one metre offside goal which adriano scored in the mestalla during copa del a rey first leg..you are very much mistaken..in the second leg sevilla were butchers at their home stadium and won courtsey of a 90th minute goal.. if you think our lads wouldn't have been incensed by this u are mistaken..after all the final was to be held at the mestalla.. sevilla deserved what they got for playing shit football..but valencia played very well..

lol.. well if u must know Juan Soler has bankrupted another of his business. His entertainment company Gran Via 37 is in the shits to a tune of €22.3 million. Yet he still has shares at Valencia but that's likely to change since he has to come up with €34 million if he wants to maintain equal power at the club.

Moving on. Yea terrific game and i really think are headed in the right direction but they still have to face Barcelona, Real Madrid, Atletico and Villarreal before the season ends. Fingers crossed.

Joaquin will probably be sold this summer even if God takes over the club and gifts it the money it desperately needs. Pablo Hernandez did more in his first 5 mins than Joaquin accomplished the entire game. He might fancy a return to Betis in the price range of €10-12 mil tops. If Valencia can recoup more than that, i will shit my pants.

Pablo just signed a 6yr contract with Los Che this summer so he will stick around along with Mata. Silva and Villa are poised to leave but i have a gut feeling Villa will reject any move and stay at the Mestalla - he just loves it there. Silva on the other hand will pressured to leave to either Juventus or some other club in dire need of a playmaker.

i loved that match, even if it was crazy.ref had a nightmare,i still dont know how fernando navarro didnt even get spoken to by the ref for the most blatant deliberate handball you are ever likely to see.as for joaquin, well i am a MASSIVE fan of his,by far my favourite player.but even i could not defend his petulance on sunday.he wasnt playing well,as he hasnt for a while now.he should look at villa, who didnt complain(much) when he was subbed off.bit of confusion with villas sub though, was he injured?thought pablo was very good when he came on,hes in a rich vein of form these days, lets hope he can keep it up.any idea if hes one of the many up for sale?
