haha totally. I remember when Valencia asked for permission from PSV to speak with him, the Dutch media were cracking up as they thought it was another Valencia stunt. The club should have realized they had blood on their hands when PSV were more than happy to let him go.

I really doubt he will get another shot at coaching in Europe anymore thanks to the Valencia debacle.

It's remarkable how far Koeman got with his reputation, he did fine at his first club Vitesse, but at Ajax he didn't impress at all. Granted, he did win a double in his first season but this can maybe be credited more to his predecessor Co Adriaanse from whom he took over halfway during the season. No one was surprised he was sacked after two seasons, he wasn't able to make Ajax challenge PSV for the title. At Psv he did inherit a (on field) really stable club from Guus Hiddink, but within a year much of the stability was gone. Psv were looking shaky, and only because they did recover under Vergoossen they won the title again. Most people around PSV didn't understand Valencia when they chose koeman but they were grateful anyway

Yea. Valencia has received some loans from outside investors and third parties thus they should be able to pay the 30 mil euros by the end of the month. Valencia should be ok till the summer and then that's then all hell will break lose. Expect a host of departures unless some Billonaire like Abramovich decides to turn the team into his toy.

Very sad

its such a shame isnt it?as a valencia fan myself(not my first team mind),im deeply saddened by what could happen.according to guillem balague,30m euros is due by the end of this month.soriano has SAID he has a buyer for the mestalla, but nobody is sure if he really does.and at the end of the season, either villa or silva has to be sold because the club cannot afford to keep both.i hope they can hold onto a top 4 place, surely the finance they will bring in from finishing bonuses and CL television revenue will help to steady the ship some bit

Another big problem for Valencia is the main star itself. Even if the club decides to sell Villa, the problem is that Villa doesn't want to leave - he loves life in Valencia and he has said numerous times doesn't fancy a move to a bigger club because he feels he can achieve all he can at Valencia. Such a lovely bloke; reminds me a bit of Rodrigo Palacio of Boca Juniors who won't leave the club despite huge interests from European clubs.
