while i was one of the very, very few people who was saying United had a chance this season, I’m not getting carried away by a 4-0 win against Bolton. We still have 7 months to go, and until we beat Chelsea, it’s not game on.

What can I say – Awesome! Rooney’s hat-trick aside Vidic’s awareness and play was amazing. Giggs seems to have redescovered his youth too.

If you continue like that I’ll be tempted to change my stance that Chelsea will take the prem this season.

As a Spurs fan who had to sit through an entertaining, yet goaless draw, I can’t help but rue the absence of Carrick. Â£18m? Bargain.

Brilliant result by United. I honestly think Vidic is better than Ferdinand. While Rio likes to sit back and make things look easy and pretty, vidic is in there throwing himself at everything and pressurising the strikers. No need to say anything about ronney, we all saw him play. But while people gave him stick for not scoring, he ran channels, put in crosses and great all round contribution, unlike 35 million pound Sheva. All we need is one more quality midfielder to do the dirty tackling and winning the ball back. The team finally looks like they WANT to win titles and trophies, and its nice to see the young guns like Fletcher and O’Shea stepping up with the senior gaurd of Ole, Scholes and Giggsy all playing like they were 18 years old. I am pround to say i honestly think this will be the season.

Vidic was supberb and is really begining to blossom, Rooney was also immense while carrick was quite but effective. Still dont think we will win the league though. Our squad is to small and injuries to scholes,rooney or saha and we would be in big trouble, sign hargreaves in januray though and we would have a decent shout.

another aspect to Carricks game is the way he tracks back and covers midfield runners into the box. with O Shea and Smith playing in midfield we were vulnerable to runners from midfield and Carrick,being a natural midfielder,is alert to them and snuffs them out. his passing can be sublime at times. i think he will prove to be a great signing.

I’m counting days to November 26th when Chelsea go and play ManU at Old Trafford. That match is going to be so so so awesome. It was great to see the boy wonder play like one…. the first 15 minutes of passing were surely a demonstration of the ManU philsophy more than the ManU skills. From minute one the Bolton defenders were unsettled, keeper being pressurized into making stupid mistakes…. great game! It’s going to be an awesome clash when ManU-Chelsea play…. the high-energy give-it-all football versus the very-composed cautious football…. Will Rooney, Saha and OGS break the Terry-Cole wall…. how will the midfield Ronaldo, Giggs, Scholes and Carrick lock horns with Essien, Lampard, Ballack, Cole….. Damn its gonna be so so stellarrrrrrr

for 18 million you got to be able to do more than that. That said Spurs knew that United were desperate for a player, had the money and hence the price.

But United in full flow are just beautiful to watch!

Although wayne rooney stole the limelight his goals were bound too come.The fascinating part of the match was performance of vidic & carrick.

I think vidic continue to impress & be better than ferdinand in the coming years & manutd will have the best defensive patnership for years.Both of them in mid 20′s.
