Louis van Gaal will officially start taking charge of Manchester United manager on Wednesday.
The Red Devils had a poor run in all competitions last season under the guidance of Sir Alex Ferguson’s successor, David Moyes. The Old Trafford club finished seventh in the league table and missed out on the Champions League for the upcoming campaign.
United sacked Moyes just 10 months into his six year contract and the former Everton manager will be replaced by Van Gaal. The Dutchman managed the Netherlands side for the 2014 FIFA World Cup, where they finished the tournament in third place.
During the World Cup, football fans have seen a glimpse of what Van Gaal could offer for the Red Devils faithful in the coming years. United fans are already excited by the fact the former Barcelona and Bayern Munich manager will take the reigns at Old Trafford this week.
