The Cesc Fabregas ruour is a load of shit, he will not leave us in this January let alone at the end of the season, Chances are (As much as I hate saying this) he probably will leave us for Barcelona... He is a Barca boy, it was his boyhood club and we have no doubt in our minds he will leave to go to Barca when he is 29-odd, and by then he will certainly be probably the greatest player on earth... Since he is in the Top 5 already no-doubt.. So we could get a lot of cash for him.

The Owen saga, I think no-matter where he goes he will still have the injuries, Man City could be a good destinaytion but I think he will be staying at Newcastle.

Owen is an excellent player - just that he doesn't really play enough for the club - injured or saves himself for England. For 120K / wk he is simply NOT a cost effective striker for Newcastle. If we had an extra two or three Owens, then it would be fine for him to play for England and get injured so much. But with hot-and-cold Martins, never-quite-there Ameobi and almost-a-crock Viduka, Newcastle's needs are greater than Owen is supplying (perhaps more than he is able to supply, certainly more than he is prepared to supply).

Have any of you actually been watching Newcastle? They are my least favourite team in the world and even I don't think that they have been playing "hoof it" tactics. They've played some pretty free-flowing football, just results have been inconsistent.

TBH Newcastle do have the attacking players to do well; it's always been their defense that was shite. Fat Sam is one of the best around at getting defenders to play as a competent unit, and I'm sure no Newcastle Utd fan would mind too much if they won a trophy playing the most unimaginable football in the division :P

Fat Sam is a crook and a thug. His football style resembles what he sees in the mirror. Newcastle will buy players like El Hadji Dioff and Robbie Savage... and get to 7th. Shame really cos I like Newcastle...I reckon it's time they get some success.

Can I cordially inform you, nordenblue, that Mr Allardyce's team does not employ "hoof it" tactics.

I'd take 15m for him considering he is on 120k per week. We'd in effect receive/save 24.6m and he'd only have 18 months remaining on his contract
