You cannot fathom how furious I am that we got rid of Lassana Diarra and Flamini. Alex Ferguson has made some stupid buys in his career but at least, unlike Wenger, he doesn’t get rid of fantastic players. Giuseppe Rossi is too weak to play in the premier league. Both Famini and Lassana Diarra have been in good form, with Lassana Diarra being outstanding for Real Madrid. I was so angry that Lass and Flamini left us, especially as there were many opportunities to offer Flamini a new contract before Christmas 2007 and also to let Lass to play. We could have loaned Diarra to Pompey, but no Wenger decided to sell him for a disgusting fee of Â£5.5m. It will probably now take 40, maybe 50, odd million to prize him from Real now. I am extremely infuriated by idiotic choice to let our two only real DCM hopes of the future go just like that.

The Arshavin deal looks like it’s going o be concluded within the next 48hrs. I do hope we get him for Â£15m, that would be an excellent buy. Hurry up Wenger! I think we are more lacking in DCM so there needs to be another buy after this tedious affair with Zenit is concluded.
