Transfer Rumours (14 June 08): Berbatov for Manchester United, Arsenal’s Nasri move a no-go?, Gomes to Tottenham, and more
So, Manchester United have offered the father of Italian youngster Davide Petrucci, who they recently signed from Roma, a job as a gardener. If his son lives up to his potential, he’ll be hiring his own gardener in the future.
The Sun says that Manchester United are set to make a 25 million pound move for Tottenham’s Dimitar Berbatov.

Could United make a move for Sergio Ramos? They’ve made an enquiry for the Real Madrid defender, but there hasn’t been an official bid at this point.

Portsmouth are going after Peter Crouch for 10 million pounds, but if their bid fails, Eidur Gudjohnsen could be a back-up option at 4 million pounds.

PSG have told Middlesbrough that they won’t sell midfielder Didier Digard for less than 4.5 million pounds, so Boro will have to step up their game in order to nab the France U-21 international.

Rangers are in the market for another striker, as the agent of Montenegrin striker Milan Purovic, who plays for Sporting Lisbon, could soon move to Scotland for two million euros.
Rumor Rating: 4 – The 6′4 Purovic has only been at Sporting for a year, and he didn’t make a big impact in that short time, but he’s only 23, and he did have a decent scoring record in his previous stops (33 goals in 90 matches with Red Star Belgrade and a club back in his homeland.

just finished watching the spain vs sweden match what a match especially with villa scoring in injury time. personally i take all tranfer rumours at this period with a pinch of salt but if its true that prior to the euros villa have expressed his desire to come to the emirates, then i think it will be stupid of wenger not 2 sign him. especially if one puts into consideration the way he has been playing since the euros began, 4 goals in 2 games if i am not mistaking
