I don't think Arsene Wenger would lose sleep over the Adebayor deal, with the money gained we could use it to buy a top class striker like Adriano or even better, an explosive defensive mid-fielder like Senna. However, if City do buy him they would have over 8 strikers in their squad, and I wouldn't be surprised if all those players' egoes get the better of them.

Didn't they just sign Santa Cruz? Now Tevez, next is Adebayor, I can't wait to see who will want to leave in January. Manchester City won't win a major title for another few years if at all.

The sale of Adebayor, if goes through are an excellent piece of business. City are willing to pay in the region of 20-25 million for Adebayor based on the fact that he scored 46 goals in the past two seasons. What they are failing to see that out of those 46, 9 of them came from the CL, a competition Man City are not competing in. So basically they pay for a striker who averaged 18.5 goals over 2 seasons. Not mentioning City's 8 other strikers.
