It’s a new day and a new week, and soon enough, some big names could have new homes, if what’s in today’s transfer roundup is true.

Chelsea have given AC Milan permission to open talks with Didier Drogba, but strangely enough, they aren’t willing to sell Andriy Shevchenko back to his old club.

Rumor Rating: 5 - I suppose they think the third season will be the charm for Sheva, because frankly, it needs to be.

The sale of Drogba to AC Milan could open up the way for Chelsea to move for Samuel Eto’o for 22 million pounds, according to The Sun, though Jose Mourinho and Inter have him in their sights as well.

Rumor Rating: 5 - Well, if it becomes a bidding war, you know who the victor will be, but we’ll see if it gets to that point.

Barcelona could be looking at a move for Sporting’s Joao Moutinho, who reportedly has a 25 million euro release clause.

Rumor Rating: 2 - With all of the money that Barcelona has spent on new signings, the release clause could prove to be a stumbling block, but with the impending sales of Ronaldinho and Deco, a move for the 21-year old midfielder could be possible.

Lyon’s highly-rated Hatem Ben Arfa could be on his way to PSG, as the 21-year old winger is said to prefer a move to the strugglers, despite interest from Marseille and Arsenal, among others.

Rumor Rating: 5 - He was born in a suburb of Paris, so he might want to go back home to lift PSG out of the doldrums.

Speaking of Marseille, former Liverpool striker Djibril Cisse has told The Observer that he wants to make a move back to the Premier League next season.

Rumor Rating: 3 - He might be most remembered in England for two rather horrific leg breaks (one with Liverpool, one with France), but when he’s upright and on his game, he can find the net regularly.

Liverpool man John Arne Riise appears set for a 5 million move to Roma.

Rumor Rating: 5 - I mentioned this move not too long ago, so it seems like it’s only a matter of time before it happens.

Inter are reportedly very interested in Atletico Madrid’s Sergio Aguero, and they could try to get Diego Maradona, whose daughter is dating the 20-year old forward, to put in a good word for them.

Rumor Rating: 3 - They’ll also need him to put in a good word to Atletico Madrid, along with upping their bid from what they previously offered (25 million euros plus Dejan Stankovic).

Atletico certainly aren’t starved for cash though, as they could spend 10 million euros on Parma’s young midfielder Luca Cigarini, one of Italy’s most promising young talents.

Rumor Rating: 5 - After their relegation to Serie B, Parma’s set to lose key players like Cigarini, so the likes of Atletico or Villareal could capitalize.
