It's almost certain that United have made an offer, but it's nowhere near the amount being discussed. And it's probably not contingent on Ronaldo leaving either. United need a proper left winger, if Nani isn't developing fast enough then he's likely to be the understudy for another year or be loaned out (don't think he'll be sold just yet).
