As for Van der Vaart, he should command a much higher fee than what Real stand to pay for him. Instead of selling themselves short, Hamburg might as well hold on to him for another season to make a run at the Bundesliga title or a CL spot. The whole Silva to Roma rumor doesn’t really hold a lot of water at this point, given their source, but hey, we’ll see.
