Along with our daily news & analysis coverage, we decided to put Top Ten transfer stories of the day under this column.

Chelsea agree deal for Cristian Manea 

Chelsea have reportedly agreed terms to sign Romanian defender Cristian Manea. The 17-year-old is expected to sign a five year contract, and will be sent on loan to either Vitesse or Real Mallorca. Read more 

Loic Remy to leave Chelsea?

Italian media outlet TMW claims that Loic Remy will leave Chelsea in the summer and the Frenchman could move to Crystal Palace. Read more 

Agent: Lukas Podolski could join Turkish club 

Lukas Podolski’s agent claims that the striker would return to Arsenal next season but could more to Turkey to get regular games.

Ali Pektas is quoted by the London Evening Standard as saying: “Last summer he could have moved to Galatasaray, but it never materialised. Every summer Lukas and I go on holiday to Turkey.

“With regard to his future, all I can say is that anything could happen, even a transfer to Turkey. Why not? He appreciates [Turkish football] a lot, and he wants to keep playing at a high level.”

Southampton to offer Morgan Schneiderlin a new contract

The Mirror: Southampton are willing to offer star midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin a £60,000-a-week deal to stop Arsenal luring the player away from the club.

Manchester United to bid for Brazilian Kenedy 

Metro: Manchester United have reportedly lodged a £5.7m bid for Brazilian Kenedy who is a reported target of Barcelona. 

Arsenal clear to sign Alvaro Morata 

Metro claims that Arsenal are given clear signal to sign Alvaro Morata. Juventus are willing to cash in on the £60m striker.

Latest on Paul Pogba 

Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola claims that the French midfielder’s departure from Juventus is not guaranteed.

Raiola said to Le Parisien: “Ligue 1 and PSG are not too small for Paul. All the big clubs are interesting to us, regardless of the league. We respect the leagues in France, Germany, England, Spain and Italy.

“Everyone thinks that Paul will leave Juventus, but that’s not guaranteed.

“Everything depends on what Paul himself and Juventus want. If it’s the moment to leave, then he will leave.”

Matic to sign new Chelsea deal? 

Daily Star claims Chelsea are offered  Matic £93,000 a week to keep him at the club.

A source close to the player said: “Matic is very happy to have returned to Chelsea in the first place and to have managed to make his mark in the club that had previously sold him, before he even got the chance to prove his worth.

“He is highly motivated and content at Chelsea. He will not think twice before putting pen to paper.”

Jordan Henderson possible target for Barcelona? 

The Metro cites Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo who claims that Liverpool midfielder could be a possible target for Barcelona.

Liverpool turn attention to Marco Sportiello

Liverpool have turned their attention to Atalanta goal keeper Marco Sportiello. The Reds have been linked with a move for Fiorentina’s Norberto Neto for some time now, but it seems the interest in the keep has died down. Read more
