Hopefully he'll have an outstanding season at Spurs and do that, Ahmed. I also have high hopes for Welbeck and was disappointed not to see Manucho get a run out against QPR.

Supposedly, after the Udinese UEFA Cup match, there was a mini-revolt in the locker room that essentially forced Daniel Levy's hand. David Bentley was especially angry about Ramos and, given his form ever since Harry Redknapp took over, I think its obvious that the whole managerial situation was affecting him. It'll be interesting to see who Spurs draw in the next round. Sir Alex and Arsene Wenger are committed to playing their youngsters, so if they draw one of those two teams, they could very well claim another scalp. Chelsea going out will also help them, as it will be one less team to worry about.

I'm tempted to Liverpool a pass for this game, however, they really played poorly. Their defense was absolutely atrocious, and if it weren't for two terrible plays by Gomes, they would have been shut out. Still, I don't think they'll be shedding too many tears about this match.

Harry has the touch of gold. They haven't lost since he's come aboard. Albeit it's the league cup...but goodness gracious, two victories against Liverpool in the span of weeks?? Were Spurs on strike for the first months of the season under Ramos because the way they've been playing as of late, you'd think that it was a conspiracy by the players to rid themselves of Ramos. Good for Spurs. Some predictions that Spurs will win it all (League Cup that is) are a bit premature but who can resist the temptation given the present euphoria that must be up and about at White Hart Lane?

It will be an interesting game tonight but according to the liverpool website Gerrard, Keane, Alonso, Carragher, Kuyt and Reina are being rested although i have read several times that Carragher is actually playing so not sure about him. However Torres should be playing and therefore will hopefully score some goals.
Both Spurs and Liverpool have a good chance of winning but if its a draw and it goes to penalties then who knows, probably Liverpool will win. But Darren Bent is the man for Spurs and Torres is the man for Liverpool. Having been rested for 6 games now due to an injury, Torres will be ready to score some goals and so I think he'll create the danger tonight and with him on fire, I think Liverpool could win!

For Spurs as usual they will treat this cup game like as if it was a Champions League game and Benitez as usual will let his youngsters and reserve team players have some match practise. So my hopes are not high for Liverpool to do a one over against the Champions. Spurs win 2-1
