The German press reported that the 21-year-old Swiss international was on Arsenal’s radar at the beginning of the month, and now it seems their biter rivals Spurs have noticed the goalscoring exploits of the young Nurnberg star.

Drmic bagged a cool brace last night against Stuttgart, giving his side a 2-0 home win, to take his tally for the season to 15 in just 23 matches.

Just two goals away from Bayern Munich striker Mario Manduzkic at the top of the Bundesliga goal scoring charts, Drmic could well be on the move at the end of the season, as the big clubs come knocking.

Arsenal and Spurs are desperately in need of an attacking overhaul, an it will be interesting to see their respective transfer drives crank up come May.

With only a reinvigorated Emmanuel Adebayor amongst the goals for Tottenham, Tim Sherwood must seriously be considering jettisoning £26m flop Roberto Soldado, and bringing in a couple of young, hungry attackers.

Arsenal meanwhile could be set for an even bigger revamp, with Nicklas Bendtner, LUkas Podolski, and Olivier Giroud all linked with moves away this past month.

Could Josip Drmic be the answer for one of these clubs?
