Tottenham Hotspur 2013-14 kits

Tottenham Hotspur have unveiled their new three-kit package for the 2013-14 season, with poster-boy Gareth Bale featuring heavily in the promotional ads.

The new kit sponsored by American manufacturer Under Armour, who had signed a five-year-contract with Spurs back in 2011, sport a huge logo of the club sponsor Hewlett-Packard in the front of their kit.

Spurs have maintained their tradition of a white home shirt and have also released the pictures of the away kits, which may not be as visually delightful as the home kit, and is turquoise blue in colour.

Spurs chairman Daniel Levy said: “We are delighted to welcome the HP brand back to the Club having previously been a Club partner in the 90’s.

“HP has established itself as one of the world’s leading technology companies and we look forward to working with them once again for the coming season.”

The Welshman Gareth Bale was at the official kit launch event, along with Brad Friedel, Michael Dawson and Jermain Defoe on Monday.

The retro design of the shirt has been inspired by the Spurs Pony kit of the late 90s. The size of the HP logo looks arguably awkward along with the “Under Armour” lettering on the sleeves which look incongruous and superfluous.
