Shouldn’t Defoe be loving West Ham? Anyway, even if some people don’t rate him, and although he’ s been out of form for some time, we all know that he is far too good to be a 4th choice striker. Spurs simply have too many big names up front and someone’s gonna suffer, most likely Defoe. He simply must go to a team where he’ll play. I have a strong feeling that he’ll eventually end in up in one of the big four (well, accept Arsenal-he’s English, you see). He only needs to play. You’ll see.

It is very obvious that Defoe has been unhappy for some time now. I feel his attitude is terrible he is a moaner and a sulker who will not work to regain his place in the team. He has had enough oppertunities to get back but has not worked hard enough on the pitch. He was first choice for a long time under Jol with Robbie Keane sitting it out for months. He wasnt performing and Keane worked didnt moan and showed Martin Jol the right attitude. Defoe has no God given right to be a first choice in any team,he will have to grow up and actually see that his future is in his own hands. If I had anything to do with it the first good offer to come in I would sell him on. It is obvious he is stalling to walk away on a Bosman.

defoe should work his way back into the first team, he has the potential. small improvements to aspects of his game would give a far better overall package, he has lost some of his flair because he has become more of a team player which isnt such a bad thing, with game time he will only get better, he will get his chance as the season wears on.
sign the new contract and show us what ur made of
