[...] Chelsea's 4-4 draw with Tottenham on Wednesday was an extremely entertaining match. Still, while all who support (or work for) Tottenham went home with a smile smeared on their faces, Avram Grant knew that the draw puts a huge dent in Chelsea's title aspirations. He is well aware to his promise to play in a much more attractive style than his predecessor, but when this comes on the expense of silverware — it will not be acceptable by Roman Abramovic.
But not such good value on the defensive front, unless you're the opposition! Spurs are great to watch if you're a neutral: at the front and the back.

Ramos is an outstanding manager. With astute recruitment in the summer, Spurs have every potential to make it a Big Five over the next couple of years - if they hang on to Berbatov.

But what's happened to the fabled Chelsea defence? It's the second league game this season they've drawn 4-4, Villa was the other. Is this part of the Abramovich "reform", more thrills and spills. The philosophy that a 4-4 draw is better than a 0-0?

Prior to this season when was the last time Chelsea conceded four games in a league match? I can remember a 5-1 CL defeat against Barcelona (2000) and the 4-0 defeat to United in the FA Cup final(1996), but in the league?
