Good result for sunderland! spurs used to be the team with all the strikers. How do spurs expect to get up the league let alone compete with liverpool if they sell their best player of the last 5 seasons robbie keane to them. They now have a team packed full of midfielders of which jenas who can only pass backwards. this sums it up! spurs every year say they will get into the top 4 but the truth is since the premiership has been established they have only been a midtable team and buy today’s performance will remain that way…from newcastle suporter

Selling Keane and Malbranque are the two most disastrous decision that was made. We had a good bunch of players last season who understand each other but was distracted too much by internal rife. What Ramos should do is not revamp the whole team but build on what he inherited from Jol and adapt his Sevilla style to spurs, relying on fast midfielders and wingbacks. IMO

O C’mon were shit! Liverpool_Fans is right. if spurs do not admit its shortcomings like it did last season early on, we’ll forever be dreaming of the top 4 yet still be languishing in mid-table. The team just looks disconnected and lacking penetrating creativeness and to top it up, we got a unreliable shot-stopper and a lazy, uncreative pointman, who was our last choice striker for the last two season.
