How does Harry Kewell miss out? Is it because he has left the EPL? Otherwise he would surely be up there!
IMScouting gathered current EPL players only Andrew, and then used their “games played” info since August 2007 (i.e. overlapping into the current season). Had they restricted their ranking to the 2007-08 season yes, Kewell would have probably been right up there.
The player with high salary and keep on injured will probably join the list.
Gary Neville name shouldn’t be there really. Neville worked his ass for Man Utd for so many years. Just because he sat out for a period of time, he should’t be immediately proclaimed as an expensive benchwarmer. His playing time is more than his bench warming time.
What ever happened to Sidwell these days? I know he is injured, but when was the last time he appeared in a Chelsea shirt? And if I was Nugent, I would have probably moved to Bolton by now, instead of bio-degrading on the Portsmouth bench.
So … Ronaldo who plays a game a week on average [when you consider the breaks] is worth £140,000 a game?
