You dont need players like Rooney and Gerrard for a five a side team. When I think about 5 a side, it is without a keepers, just using small goals to score in, so Ill just name 5 players and no keeper. 1. Jari Litmanen : Hamann said when Litmanen came to Liverpool that Litmanen was the best 5 a side player he had ever seen..he never lost the ball. 2. John Barnes : Strong, quick, smart, never lost the ball. 3. Carlos Valderrama: In a game I watched he made 96 passes and 94 of them were on target...that says it all. 4. Maradona: enough said.. 5.
