The Tottenham Way: Let’s Buy More Players
This time they want to buy Mathew Upson from West Ham, a rumour that dovetails nicely with West Ham’s recent austerity measures. Upson, if he stays fit, would be a good buy for Tottenham but seriously, has someone at the club itself thought about doing something other than throwing money at their problems?

I agree with Ledley, we all knew what players we needed to get 2 seasons ago but still haven’t got them, demote or sack comolli now - simply not good enough at this level!!!

Its obvious West Ham need to sell, and there’s a great tradition of them being our feeder club whether they like it or not, although to be honest how many of them have lasted the distance. out of Kanoute, Defoe, Carrick, and whatever others we have nicked over the years how many are still with us. thats right zero.
So i dont see Upson being any better, however if we are to raid Wet Spam again then why not get people who might actually bring something to our team, such as Dean Ashton and Paul Parker and Sears the youngster. Then if they are still selling think about Upson, but take the good before the crap otherwise they may get 9 million for upson and decide they dont need to sell the likes of Ashton
