When you consider that Liverpool were genuine contenders for the title last season and some of their performances were excellent, how did it get to where it is today in a few short months, with more or less the same personnel? I agree with you though that as long as the Americans are there and until further investment comes in I can't see them building the strength of squad needed. I still think there’s more than enough time for Liverpool to get it together and finish in the Top 4.
