The funny side of football in 2009

2009 has been a year like none before.

Barcelona hit the ‘sextuple’, Cristiano Ronaldo was sold for around 80m, some big nations struggled to qualify for the World Cup, Theirry Henry’s ‘hand of the French god’ sparked arguments and England felt that the Irish were cheated, etc.

And not just in football; 2009 changed the whole world forever. Only makes me wonder what 2010 has in store for us.

Youtube has shown us all the goals and galore but here is a compilation of some of the events from 2009 that we all can look back and smile (or maybe you just hate beach balls).
