Did he have a bruise? Did he have any physical evidence at all whatsoever? If not, why is there even a discussion? Obviously Evra didn't hit him, because he's a professional athlete; had he wanted to hurt Bethel, a groundskeeper, he could have done a hell of a lot worse. It's obvious that Bethel was raring for a fight, but it's certainly not clear that Evra had any violent intentions. Terrible miscarriage of justice - the FA should be ashamed. In this case there is no evidence, everything shows that Evra's actions were perfectly normal, and that he did nothing to deserve a 4 match ban+fine. I don't think they're out to get United just cause they're United, it's because it's a big team, and the other one was Chelsea, who has had some reeeeally nice relationship with the FA this last couple of years... I think there's one of the strips in Studs Up that shows it perfectly... Look it up, you can't miss it, plus it's a really good laugh.
