Oh my Ruud – a fantastic striker with an insane ability to score goals. Was a Manchester United legend in the making before a spat with Ronaldo and differences with SAF led him to Real Madrid, where he proceeded to score 20+ goals, again, showing that despite the title, Manchester United still missed a player of Ruud’s class.
Forget what they say about Holland and Manchester United playing better without Ruud or Ruud not fitting their style of play – that’s all bollocks from people who allow managers to form their opinions.
Ruud van Nistelrooy can fit into any attacking system and is an excellent striker.
