David Beckham
I’ve been told that I’m the biggest David Beckham fan people have ever met. I assure you that I don’t go gaga over his pics, but as a player he is everything you’d expect – extremely hard-working, talented, gives 110% every time and is flawed as well as simple genius.
Becks had an illustrious career with Manchester United before being kicked out by SAF and thrown Real Madrid‘s way, who then proceeded to shoot themselves in the foot by giving him a poor contract which led him to head towards LA Galaxy, where Becks will, in all likelihood, end his professional career.
He’s been excellent for England as well, both under Eriksson and under McClaren (who saw the light finally and picked him for the national team).
Moyes wants to bring Beckham to Everton
Everton manager David Moyes has expressed his desire to bring David Beckham to Everton. In previous season’s the former England captain has departed current club L.A. Galaxy on loan during the Major League Soccer off-season in order to keep his match fitness in order to play for his country, and Moyes, who played with Beckham…
‘All The Fish Are Sold’: Spain Claim Seven World Cup Votes
In a turn of phrase more befitting an episode of The Man from U.N.C.L.E than an interview regarding the upcoming World Cup 2018 voting ceremony in Zurich, the chief executive of the Spain/Portgual bid, Miguel Angel Lopez, has claimed that ‘all the fish are sold’ and that the Iberian campaign may have already (theoretically) garnered…
Glory Glory Man United, but for how long?
Since Manchester United recently released a record loss of 83.6 million and an increased turnover, fresh cries for the Glazers to leave have been reinstated and we can expect to see a lot more of the famous Newton Heath style scarves being brandished around Old Trafford. Man United fans have made no big secret of their loathing…

11 Footballers on Film
With the amount of simulation in the modern game, one would think that many footballers would do quite well as actors. But as the following list shows, very few have made the transition into film and the results, to be generous, have been mixed. From Pele to David Beckham, we profile some of the more…
David Beckham LA Galaxy Wallpaper
This is a throwback wallpaper, being slightly older than others I’ve been posting. However, it’s a very nice David Beckham wallpaper wearing the LA Galaxy football shirt, which is hard to find these days. The Englishman looks good in the white here, with a lot of golden effects going on around him. Perhaps it’s not…
How Wayne Rooney Shed £12m In One Easy Step
Given his recent extra-marital misdemeanours, it should come as little surprise that Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney‘s intrinsic commercial value has – if you’ll excuse the unavoidable pun – waned of late. His recurring inability to regulate which orifices he crams his junk into has already cost Rooney one of his high-profile sponsors, after Coca-Cola…
David Beckham AC Milan Wallpaper by Buffon
A great wallpaper of David Beckham made by a designer that goes by the name of Buffon. We don’t see so much work focused on Becks these days since he’s playing his football in America and out of the public eye around here, but you’re always sure to find work with him in the Milan…

LA Galaxy’s midfielder David Beckham™ has admitted that he doesn’t envisage returning to Europe on a temporary basis this season, as he has done in recent years. In a bid to temper his frustrations at catching a surprise second wind on the international scene after prematurely moving from the Real Madrid doldrums into a lucrative…
