Carlisle 1970 -1973

In 1970, the Carlisle team adopted a new crest, a running fox (the club was known at the time as "The Foxes", after the connection with Cumbria's most famous huntsman, John Peel - as in D'ye ken...). This appeared in gold between 1970 and 1981, after which it was rendered in red and white against a blue background. This shirt is long sleeved and made from 100% cotton.
